I believe he is referring to removing the magneto and replacing it with a CDI that is battery powered.

You are correct. The 80GT that I have was purchased with the magneto and coil packs option and not EI.

I don't want to mess with a Magneto powered engine, they can be finicky to start, add extra weight and I believe the EI will provide a smother running engine. Some have reported additional RPM by switching, I'm just looking for a more reliable, smother and easier to start experience.

Slow progress as I have been trying to get some stick time in. One side almost completed other than a couple of bolts. The other side just needs the support attached to the cone. A few pics of the progress...

Completed the refresh for the Endeavor pylon racer. I love how well the baffles were thought out and executed...

Here is my Sbach 107 inch, Used Darice 6mm Foam. First attempt at baffling. Think it turned out pretty well.

DA 70 T baffels on a Horizon Hobby S2B with a split cowling . Baffles are alu. flashing and are very very light weight .

Hope someone can help
Im trying to baffle my skywing 91 ars300. With gp76.
I have some 3d printed ones that dont quite fit and was trying to make craft foam but the issue i have is i cant get the cowl on with the baffles mounted because they hit the front of the exhaust cans. I was considering using the method of building a baffle box the stays on the motor when the cowl is removed but not sure if craft foam will withstand that.
