HOT new AJ Aircraft 92" Laser Z200 is in production!
Special project and a ground up new design coming from AJ Aircraft!
92" 70cc with new wing design, quick release wings and canopy, dual rear stab locations, airfoil by Terryscustom and LOTS more Huge thanks also to Kim Quenette for doing the scheme for us in Pearl Blue and Apple Green. |

I'm so happy with this new AJ Z200! I used Andrew's proven wing dimensions, paired with my airfoil that I've been working on perfecting for several years. This combination on a sleak 100% new fuselage design and new ground up wing redesign produced a phenomenal plane that has great roll rate, nice speed and precision, blistering snaps and a smooth transition from tumbles to dead solid harriers that I feel is better than any 70cc plane I've flown. I hope you enjoy this plane as much as I do, it's in production for a late December arrival with luck |

I plan to do a video this week. Basically they automatically lock and to unlock you pull and slide the pin back The wings will also have a wing bolt as a backup and also for those that choose not to use it or what a backup. Lots of people request it but an equal number of people requested bolts. The canopy uses the same mechanism and we are also adding magnets to help keep vibration down over time. |

First, good to see Terry back on FG! You and your knowledge were missed. Beautiful airframe.
As a student of airframe design, I’m curious what is unique about your airfoil. I’ve said for decades the airfoil is key to airframe design and we’ve had some real looser designs in the past. Most newer designs are quite good overall. Are you trending to the lower % sections or do you favor a thicker airfoil? Just wanting to pick your mind a bit. Curious. |

There are a lot of factors that come into play with thickness, shape, leading thickness, trailing thickness, center of pressure length and also using different airfoils at root and tip like I've done here and how they play together. |

That was an excellent political answer. Tis the season I guess.
