Wow. You have yet another fan. Just spent 3 hours sitting in my hotel room, staring at your build thread.

Been in Long Beach all week so sorry for no updates.

But............. When I got home I had some cool toys waiting for me.....................

This is with out a doubt the coolest set-up I have owned for charging my batteries....

With my Feathermerchant power-supplies, and my new I Chargers I can charge 2 sets of 4 each 5 cells at 30 amps (or about a 1000 watts per charger).

Both Feathermerchant and Dave at Progressive RC are possibly 2 of the greatest people I have worked with, the costumer service is 110% out of sight.......

Rock on!!!!!

I couldn't agree more! Are you planning to run those supplies off a couple generators? Just wondering what you're doing for power, as I've often wondered what I would do with another 24v power supply setup.

My Honda EU2000i generator out-puts 1600 watts continuous so 1600 watts is max for both chargers. 2000 watts is the max I need for both. But if I can swing it I plan on getting another Honda EU2000i spring of 2013. My budget is so tight for this year I can't swing it, just to get to SEFF and back is going to cost $600.00 in gas so the extra generator wont happen this year.

I am piece by piece getting a cool system put together........

Sounds like a good plan. I'd forgotten that you were charging 5 cells, so you don't need an insane amount of watts for those packs/chargers, sounds like it'll work perfect.

Ok, back to watching this awesome build

She is looking more like a peace maker.......

And FYI.... I will have the entire B-36 at SEFF...... Not ready to fly, but airframe, jet pods and all.

How many pounds of wire will it carry? May I suggest you have a Halon fire extinguisher nearby for the maiden, just in case.
