Are their any imac events in virginia?

Yes, there is one in Fredericksburg. There are also a few in NC (Fayetteville, Mocksville and Lexington) and three in Maryland.

We almost had two last year. The Hampton Roads IMAC got washed out by a major storm. The Other Va contest was in Fredericksburg.

For 2012 I'm not sure because nothing is listed yet. I do know a thrid location on the coast is being worked on.

I want to start flying imac but i havent found any events. I heard about the one at Hampton roads but it was canceled.

Start practicing now so when the new season starts in the spring you will be ready. It's a blast.

Tidewater R/C is hosting IMAC contests on May 5-6 and July 21-22.

Awesome Lucky! A must attend is the Flying Judging Seminar in Welcome, NC. Be sure to sign up. This will help you know just what the Judges are lookiing for.

Exactly! Go to judging school and then come to a contest. The guys in the SE Region are very accommodating for newbies and will bend over backwards to help you succeed!

Can't wait to see you again man! I believe you are already signed up for one of the contests we're hosting as a matter of fact. We're holding one May 5-6 and another July 21-22.

So far, my contest schedule is looking like Lexington (April 28-29), Tidewater (May 5-6), *Maybe* N. Georgia IMAC Challenge (June 9-10), Charm City IMAC (NE Reg - June 30-July 1), 2012 Nats (July 9-12), Tidewater (July 21-22), Piedmont, NC (August 11-12).

Non-contest: Local Fun Flys, Joe Nall (May 11-20), First in Flight Jet Rally (May 25-27), OH Huckfest (August 16-19) and *Maybe* volunteer at Clover Creek Invitational at the end of August.
