Aura 8 Professional Quick Trim

I have set up my Aura Pro 8 in my Hangar9 Pitts 60cc. Everything works fine but I can't for the life of me get the quick trim to work.

I have followed the instructions religiously for an hour and can never get the slowly flashing blue light. Transmitter on, plane on, shut down Aura leaving transmitter on. Hold button 2 down and power up Aura holding the button for five seconds. The Aura goes into its normal on mode before the five seconds are up.

Doesn't work in the config tool either. Just gives an error.

Anyone know the trick?

Rex

I haven't done this for a while so I may be totally wrong here but as I recall you must select Aura FM1 before starting Quick Trim. I seem to recall having the same problem you describe at the field once a couple of years ago and when I changed to FM1 and started the process it worked. Also I was using the original Aura 8 at the time so perhaps the Aura Pro is different in this regard as well but I figured I'd mention it just in case it helps.

Solved.

Turns out you can't disable the S3 Bind plug option for quick trim in the PC App.

The #2 Button must replicate having a bind plug in S3

Works fine now.
