No, not under load. Static it was 6.3 volts. Doing this by myself today didn’t render it possible. I am going to send it back and let tech aero evaluate it once I get in contact with them. I am satisfied that it was causing the issues. Having the interference and wot missing issues go away after all of the troubleshooting previously performed has me convinced, and happy.

Absolutely it is electronics like anything and can have a faulty component. Glad you caught it before it caused an issue. Let us know what they figure out.

Dan, from what I read on the EME manual, the ignition needs a minimum of 7.4v. TA makes a HV IBEC - is it possible you don't have enough voltage going into the ignition? I know you said you were running a 6v Nimh, but coming off a charger a 5 cell pack may be close to 7v. You might want to talk to Mike at Mile High.

Spot on FGN ,The GP/EME(Both run Same Black Box unit) Needs over 7+v to operate well, But normally the low voltage caused kick back and crappy starting.

There is a New updated model of this unit that is used by GP,DJ & Assume EME, It supposed to work fine at any voltage.

Good Luck and let us know how you go

Have you tried just running a battery to the power in to the Ign to eliminate any possible fault of the Ibec etc?
This way if the issue is still there is going to be Ign related.

Nope, this was in my extra if you read the original post, not the super decathalon. Dle 55, 4.8-6.0v ign. The ignition runs perfectly off a 6v nimh, and NO rf back to the rx. Glitches are gone and so is the ibec.

My eme 70 twin does not have a black box ignition box. It has a silver ignition box, eme on it similiar to the dle boxes. Nothing special.
Pic is from Mile High website. Mine installed is the same.

Maiden

Successful maiden yesterday! It was the perfect day, blue sky, wind 3/5 knots down the runway. Lifted off at half throttle, a couple clicks of up elevator and right aileron, and it was hands off. Flies very light with no surprises. Great airplane.

Hi Guys

What engine size do you recommend to do some 3D flying and especially hovering?

I plan to put the Xicoy X45 Turboprop (power like 70cc to 80cc) gas engine) in, turning a 24x10 3-blade propeller at 6000RPM.

Watched most of the youtube films, the guys doing aerobatics mostly use 85 to 100 cc engines...

Do you think this is enough or should i go with the 107 inch version?

Best regards from Switzerland (sorry for the bad english...)

Roman
