HA!! Here is the story on that:
I pulled the Caddy in the front yard and thought I would put some lights on to take a picture, which I did. Then the wife comes home and says it looks too good to put up. So I left it in the front with the lights on. People started texting me about in, all very positive. Then about 4 days later an official looking truck pulls up. A man in an official looking outfit gets out. It was a guy from the codes dept! A neighbor had reported the car! He asked if it ran (runs like a scalded cat but not past a gas station) and then he said I couldn't leave it parked in the yard. I understand but I was disappointed. So he is in my yard writing something and hands me a piece of paper. He says I have until Jan. 10th to remove the car from the yard. Then he flashes me a smile and walks back to his truck. Awesome! I immediately went to Ace and bought 4 times more lights to put on the car. I used to be the guy that had the manger scene on his Harley. Now I'm the guy that has the Christmas Caddy! |
