Hate that, lose an airplane after 100 flights, not so bad, but on a maiden, sucks big time. Has happened to all of us. Sorry

Transmitter failure - Failsafe worked, engine went to high idle, flight controls centered, the plane stalled and went straight in from 800'. I wiggled the sticks all the way to the ground and all I could do is watch.

I can't even imagine that feeling......I saw this in the other thread you posted in...still makes me sick.

The prop wasn't even mine - Falcon 29x12-3. Supa Tim from NorthwestRC handed it to me for a demo to see what I thought about it. I was really liking the prop and had some excellent down line braking, not quite enough for this though. I now own 3 blades of a 29x12-3 if anyone is needing a letter opener or stir stick.

Friends EF Bushmaster. Unfortunately I was taking a turn on the sticks, had just come out of a high knife edge pass (trying to play it safe) and than had next to no control. Turns out the nut had come undone from the elevator control horn linkage and that was all she wrote. Poor bird had less than 10 flights on it.

Eeek. So sorry.... was it known if thread locker was used?
