Guys I am in the process to see if we can host an IMAC contest at Space Port America in New Mexico. There is an event in the making to support multiple events at the venue. It sounds like there will be FPV Quad racing and wing racing so far. We would have a dedicated spot on the runway for us to fly two separate flight lines. No worries about mid airs!
The idea of the whole event is to showcase all aspects of the hobby to the youth.

Sounds like a fun time. What date is the event?

The date of their main event is first week of June.

Sadly we were scheduled to run the same weekend as another R/C event and we were going to split the cost of using Spaceport. The other event got pushed to October. Due to this we were unable to have the event since in October there is the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout.
