Question
MOJO 65 build?

Guys, I have a short kit for a MOJO 65 that I'd like to build. I have gathered most of the pieces needed for the build, except for two pieces. Those are the maple motor mounts. I have a piece of maple, larger than needed, that can be cut to the needed size, but I'm not yet sure what that size is. I believe the thickness is 1/2", same as the 1/2" balsa fuse, but not sure about the depth of the groove that needs to be milled into the side that mates with the 0.509" fiberglass tubes. Does anyone know how deep the groove needs to be to allow the assembly of motor mount, balsa fuse piece and fiberglass tube, to fit together correctly? I have a 1/2" diameter ball nosed router bit to mill the groove, but not sure how deep it needs to be. Any help will be appreciated. I have Paul's Build Instructions, and a set of plans, but the needed dimension isn't obvious.
Thanks,
Larry
