Ordered the new one.... Not impressed... They completely re-designed the plane...thinner wood... They got rid of the scale hinges... And the setup for the retracts is non-standard... Very small controller and odd power setup. Requires 7.4-8.4 volts... With an Jst connector only. I had to reverse the front retract connector.... Which are all two wire... Not 3. So they don't fit servo extension wires. The new gear is very beefy... But the electronics are crap.
There was a bit of damage in shipping and they gave me a partial refund because they had no replacement parts.
The firewall was weak and broke in flight... But I was able to land. See pictures. They said it had to be something I did... Lol. Rebuilt it.

Politano, thanks for the info. I was thinking I needed one of these but maybe not now. I don't like electric retracts anyway.

Correct... Electric... But the electronic control module and the wiring is something you would see on a cheap foamy. Nothing brand name or using standard connections. Also here are the pictures I promised earlier.

You can see the lack of glue... And that the paint leaked down into the laminate... Which means there was a gap from where it split. Also you can see where they reduced the size of the firewall... There is a gap on the top that used to be filled. The side wall is also 3 inches shorter than the first version. And the entire fuse is covered in some kind of fabric covered foam... Never seen it before in a plane very unusual. There is also no access to the plastic T-nuts in the wings... If they become loose... Wing is useless. I replaced them in the original with stainless steel as there was access.
