I figured it out. The Dubro 899 and 900 swivel links are not pre-threaded. You all are correct. I just thought it appropriate to update you.

The Dubro 3355 Heavy-Duty Control-Horn System however is all pre-threaded, including the swivel links that it includes... which look to be exactly the same as the links in 899 and 900... (except the threading). I do have packs of all these items(I have packs of many different items at this point), and probably brain farted somewhere... Once I got my new order of swivel links I realized what was what.

Somewhere along the line it did confuse me, but all is well again in Smallville.
