Welcome...
Visit the Imac site..Then contact Chris Hammond in Alberta. Some of the Alberta guys have attended the Richland contest. The 2011 schedule thats posted on the Imac site is only a partial schedule, there's going to be more contests being posted in the New Year.

I'm not sure what contest would be the closest for you. Chris would know. (RichLand, Wanatchee or maybe the Idaho events)..

Imac Site....

The biggest contest in the Northwest will more than likely be the Pacfic Coast Championships at Molalla Or. on July 28th thru 31st. They will fly Basic on Thurs all day and then Sportsman thru Unlimited Fri & Sat. Sunday is Freestyle. If you want some closer ones to attend the Coeur d alene, Lewiston, and Richland contests are probably the ones to look at with the Richland contest being the best attended.

Hi there, I want to let you know about the first of the 4 IMAC contest that are scheduled for Alberta this year. June 11 and 12, 2011 at the CRAMS club in Calgary. This is definately not a "big" event but it would be an excellent opportunity for you to come out and fly Basic and learn what IMAC is all about in a smaller, low pressure envronment! You might find a large event with two flight lines and 40+ pilots a little intimidating for your first time out We will have several pilots flying 40% planes in the Intermediate class along with a good crew of first time Basic pilots and some sportsman level pilots.
