Just got back home a few hours ago from the Snake River IMAC competition in Twin Falls ID.
What a great weekend of flying and fun with friends as always.

Gotta give a big thanks to Mike Verzwyvelt for once again putting on a well run and fun competition

I'm glad it was a good time, how was the turn out ?

I've always wanted to go to that one but with the kids in school and the distance, I'm always coming up short.

There were 15 pilots there in basic through advanced, nobody was there competing in unlimited this year.

For me it was definitely worth the 3 hour drive and 3 days in the sun - I was lucky to get the time off of work this year.
And it was very nice to come home with a 1st place finish in Sportsman on fathers day

That's a pretty good turn out . The place looks really nice. Thanks for the pics and congrats on your 1st place finish.

Looks like you guys had some great weather. I sure missed not being there this year, (although I did not miss the drive) Mike always puts on a great contest.

Thanks to all that made the contests this past weekend. We had a good turnout with 15 total pilots. 2 basic, 6 sportsman, 5 intermediate, and 2 advanced. We missed you all from northern Idaho this year. We did have an east wind of 10-15 mph on saturday and a slight breeze from the east on sunday with temps in the mid 80. As always we had a great time and it was great to finally fly a contest this season. The results will be posted soon on the IMAC web site.
I will see you all in Othello in a couple of weeks.

It was great weather though it was a little bit on the windy side Friday and Saturday.

Hopefully you guys will be able to make it down next year
