How many rounds are we going for? I really liked the columbus contest where we started early and got lots of rounds in.

Re: Cincinnati "burnit" Challenge

So to lessen the # of pilots in sportsman I say we move all those new guys (stephen, brian and his futaba buddies, and you too edge 540) up to intermediate. That oughta make things more (less) talented in sportsman for us...

To answer the question about number of rounds flown, Will and I always work hard to keep the flightlines MOVING so that we can fly as much as possible. This contest always is a lot of fun, but it is also serious competition. Believe me, we'll work hard to get as much flying as possible in.

It is also as much up to the pilots. Be in the ready box with you plane, volunteer to judge, and help have airplanes in the air before the next one lands. Ala NATS style. We are going to have a great time with the chicken dinner and sitting around the campfire Sat, but up to that point we need to help Will and Ken run the contest efficiently so that we fly as many rounds as possible. I am looking forward to both a great contest and a great time sharing spirits and campfire stories with my friends! NCFR!!!

Well gentlemen, (and I use the term loosely) only 6 days until the fun begins....unless you are camping then the fun begins in 5 days.
Hope all have a safe trip over to Cincy for the contest and let the fun begin.

Will / Marian,

You guys were telling me about a better way to get there than what I usually do by going to Kilby Rd..
Can you post that from Hwy 74?

Tim, it will be good to get to see you again!

I'm not sure what my plans are yet. Looks like I will probably be making the trek each day. We'll wait and see what happens!

Seth,

Bring a tent and camp. Last year we had about 7 or 8 tents set up along with about the same amount or more of campers. Gas is too expensive to be going back/forth.
Dont worry about showers....we will all smell the same by the end of Sat. night
