David maybe try reducing your elevator throw or try a bit more expo In my imac planes as i'm only flying basic myself i fly on low rates fro the whole flight i'm running about 12 deg elevator throw up and down and 30% expo and i like to slowly add throttle as i'm pulling level

If you are naturally soft on sticks slowly introduce expo to suit YOUR flying style. Ok I'm not known in person by the majority on here. Setup to your needs. Expo is a good thing that technology has introduced but I am a believer in feeling what the plane is doing. Yes I SOMETIMES use expo but generally no more than 25% but this suits ME and MY style.

Mr loopy i spent many years flying models with full throw and no expo and constant full throttle, I used to fly with 100% throws from the time i took of till the time i landed and never used to throttle back till 1/2 way through my final approch, But when i started flying imac models and wanted to fly presision that was when i changed the setup just so the plane would fly smoother. now i fly everything with expo even my foamies.

As I said expo is a good thing. It's something that individuals need to play with as everyone flys differently and no plane is the same. I learnt to fly using dual rates about 18 years ago but didn't play with expo then... I really wish I did though as it is good.
