Unknown pitts 12 help?

Got this for cheap a while back to use as a beater bipe. Finally going to finish the build. Its a pretty old kit im thinking HK or Nitroplanes. Had 30cc in sharpie on the side of the box. I was planning to go electric figuring 6s setup.
Was hoping someone here has some info on it or suggestions. I have a power 60 around not sure if that will be enough. manual says 60 class power system. 55 inch ws, finished airfeame weight approx 4.5 lbs. With no electronics.
Let me know what you folks think.

Actually, that covering scheme looks like a Carl Goldberg Pitts Monster. It's a 56" wingspan. Dad has one with a OS 1.20 4-stroke.

My Dad checked the manual and the engine sizes it recommends are .61 -1.08 2-stroke and .91 - 1.20 4-stroke. The manual doesn't give recommendations for electric power. It gives flying weight as 11 1/4 to 12 1/4 lbs. An update to the wingspan: Top wing 60" and bottom wing 58".

Maybe a "slightly" recovered Nitroplanes/Hyperion Pitts Model 12?? Appears they made two versions, one with the rounded wingtips and one that was clipped (appears you have the round wing version). I had the clipped version for a few short and spectacular flights till one of the leads from the motor came out of the talon 90 ESC during a Rob Holland style inverted Frisbee. Doesn't glide well dead stick, but a WONDERFUL flying bipe for its size.

Nitroplanes Hyperion Pitts Python 12 (3 min 43 sec)

Update: Found on nitro planes website. Discontinued, but identical to what you're showing in the pics.

Josh,
You got the right one there.

I see that you're in Suffolk. You fly at Lone Star Park? I lived off of Shoulders Hill Road until 2010 and flew with a small group over on Woodland Drive - Isle of Wight RC. Looks like it's been changed over to a solar farm since I left. No more looking for a dead stick in the corn.

Jeff,

I actually do fly at HRRC. Been flying there since mid 2011. Cool. Our club used to be on Shoulders Hill for a short time where Suffolk meadows is (they were in the field right there next to Shoulders Hill IIRC what I was told by one of the members).
