The Bampf is almost complete. I got the gear and wheel pants installed, tail wheel, gas tank, and the cowl cut except for the muffler's spot. I have some minor tasks to do on her and it should be ready to fly this weekend. I will have some pictures up in a bit...

Here is how the Bampf looks as of tonight.....

I put together the plane last night and did a rough CG to find out if I’m going with a pull-pull setup or if the servo was going in the tail. After the CG I found out it was tail heavy so I will have pictures of the pull-pull setup on here today. Things are going smoothly building wise.
Here is a picture of the belly pan installed from last night.

I just completed the Pull-Pull setup for the Bampf 3D. After this I will mount the muffler and cut the cowl to accommodate it.

Well it looks like the plane is going to fly tomorrow or Sunday (weather permitting)
I have been busy since I got home from school and everything is done except for mounting the receiver/battery plus the prop and spinner.
I will post some pictures of the inside and of the cowl finally all cut for the muffler and fuel dot.

The plane is going to fly on Sunday. It would of flown tomorrow, but the spinner adaptor dad bought didn't fit. All is done except for spinner and mounting battery inside.......

Everything was completed today after I got home from Lunch. It will maiden tomorrow morning and I will have Dad take video of it. I will also take some pictures of my receiver and battery placement before if flies tomorrow.

Didn't maiden the Bampf today due to windy conditions. Because of the weather, I ran a couple tanks of fuel through the engine to break it in. The engine got more power as it ran. I taxied it around the street a bit and then packed it up.
I took some pictures of it all put together and with the graphics given with the plane put on.

Sorry for all the hype. Today was another windy one. It will be Sunday for sure, windy or not.

Well I took the plane out to the field today planning on flying it.
I still needed to program the separate aileron servos in the radio and I thought I had the elevators programmed. I couldn't figure out how to get the aileron servos programmed together so I decided to get some help from some friends at the field.
It turns out, the way the 10x with a 2.4 module can't program the duel elevators and ailerons with a AR7000 2.4 receiver. It would mix them to where they would work, but only one of the servos would take D/R and Expo settings.
I could of flown it with 0 expo and 100% rates, but I didn't want to take the chance.
On top of that, the video camera battery wasn't even charged enough to take a flight video.
Hopefully I will be able to take her out again this week with a 9ch. receiver all programmed up ready to fly.

The maiden is tomorrow. The plane is all packed in the trailer and charged up. Look out for the video and pictures......
