Century Jet Sea Fury

Hi All,

I have just acquired a Century Jet Models Sea Fury. Its been re-furbed and isn't far off flying once I have installed my own radio gear in.

Its got a Saito 84 radial and a full set of scale retracts.

My question is, does anyone know the control throw that are best for it and likely elevator deflection on full flap.

I have been told that the CofG, or balance point if you prefer is 6 inches from the wing leading edge at the fuselage join.

Any help of experience greatly appreciated.

Charlie

From manual...

CG - 6” from leading edge at fuselage/wing intersection
Ailerons - 1/2” up/down
Elevator - 3/4” up/down
Rudder - “All you can get.” (lol) 1-1/2” right/left
