What now FAA?

Got an email from AMA stating the FAA wants to promulgate more rules toward us. I knew once it started it would just continue. So what are we going to get hit with now from the mighty toy restricting FAA?

By the wording I get the feeling they are thinking something along the line's of a transponder.

Does it ever occur to anyone at the FAA that the bad people who cause what they deem to be the problems aren't going to be the ones complying with their edicts?

That is a fitting question of anyone whom writes rules or laws.

Oh come on guys, everyone knows that it is just to address global warming. Ask AOC if you need someone to confirm it.

On second thought,... never mind...

It does seem like the transponder thing is up next. Now this aggravates me because we fly LOS in maybe a1000 ft. area. I know the horse already left the barn, but my suggestion is to have more events geared towards the public. Local politicians love this and we need to get as many of them out to the flying field's as we can. We need them to be our advocates and explain that the model airplane community is not the people that are flying recklessly or taking videos of people in their backyards. The line was never drawn, so we have to draw it.

Good luck with that because in general the public could care less about us.
I said back in the very beginning that the easiest way to stop the idiots was for the FCC to limit the transmission of video. If that had been the route the AMA took we would still be under 336.

I don't know what an ADS-B is but I had gizmo on my trailer that I could track on my phone, it was 1" square and an 1/8" thick.
