That is a video from a few months ago and that was not an intentional maneuver, but was rather meant to be a high speed touch and go. The report is that the plane struck some debris in the water.

I think there was a thread about this with links to the repairs, etc. of that vintage Dornier Do 24.

There was a report that it had to be towed to shore and had some serious hull damage
