Looks good Matt, If the weather tomorrow is like it was today it will be a cracker
in Bendigo so your maiden should be a good one.
I am thinking about getting one of these myself so am looking forward to the flight/s.
I guess you are the Guinea pig on this one.

Re: Precision Aerobatics Katana MD

Well I maidened the Katana MD today in perfect conditions. This things flys very nicely but a little too fast on the supplied props(APC 12X6 and 13X6.5) I will try some 12X4 or 12x3.75's which I think will be much nicer. Harriers had a little wing rock but I wasnt really getting the nose up high enough. I found that it does need more right thrust then the factory setting and will have this done for the next outing. There was very little coupling in knife edge in all attitudes and it rolls very axial. Cant wait to get a few more flights on it to tweek some of the setting.

That plane looks like she's a beaut! Keep us posted on what you find to be the best set up. I think I'll get one of these when I get back to the states. I just love the looks of all those little carbon tidbits.

Well done matt. It looks like a 30% model in the pic where you are hovering next to yourself. Must be an optical illusion.

Hey guys, I've been loving my KMD since I got it up and running last week. I just got a vid put together from yesterday's flying. https://www.flyinggiants.com/gallery...=24760&cat=508

I've got the AH setup. The spinner is the lightened true-turn 1.5" (12 grams).
