The CB200 is medium duty servo interface and should be used in medium size airplanes only (IMHO).

There is a reason Jeti makes 3 different sizes of C boxes. It's up to the user to choose the right one for the application.

What do you think would happen if I'd hook up 20A ESC with the el. motor pulling 60A? Yes, you're right, the ESC would burned up. But I wouldn't blame device or the manufacture for my own mistake.
Lol. That’s the best response yet. Ed you have seen every post and every account. Hell at one time you even agreed and then edited your post.
For reason of bad language. Lol. No bad language at all..

The cb 200 was the recommended Powerbox for a 120cc plane.. Not till after all the problems did the bullcrap comment about it being a medium duty power distribution... This is the type of stuff that drives me crazy.

I personally called Jeti many times and talked to the at Nall.. There answer was it was the ignition, then the Servos, then they took my transmitter for 4 months. Never once did they say it was the wrong product for the application. They new exactly what we where running.

Ed where do you get your Jeti Equipment??

If I get a call from a guy named Joe who claims he is recording the call, I’m eating all of them!

Well, since the poison one was already taken I would eat rest of them.

I have conducted my own test and the CB200 passed! According to specs, the maximum operational temperature is 75C. As you can see, at that temp there was no fuse tripping. Also you can see the CB200 doesn't produce any harmful RF interference. The key word is "harmful". Signal quality was 100%. Connected servo was completely stalled. In flight, you will never see that kind of current.
Do I understand this correctly ? Are you saying that you think that no servo will ever pull more than 3.73 A in flight ?

I was setting up a plane awhile back and with a ganged servo glitch I saw 6 amps with a savox. While this is highly unlikely in flight, to claim 3.73 as any kind of a standard is setting a very low bar.

I have bench tested quite a few servos, and it is typical to see over 6 amps at stall with a big servo (for example, Savox 2290, ~630 oz-in @8.0V, 6.6 amps), so I don't think it is unreasonable that a full throttle snap or KE loop would see some good percentage of that current draw (i.e. more than 3.8 amps).

No! Sorry, I should have been more specific. I have Krill 33% Su-29 with DA-100, CB200, 2x A123 2300mAh battery, 8x Hitec5955, 1x something smaller for throttle. This is a perfect application for CB200. Tested servo was Hitec5955, hitting hard stop and holding it there for 60 sec. When I said "you'll never see that kind of current in flight", I meant with the 5955 servo. Testing was done for my own amusement with the equipment I'm using. So, once again, I'm talking about Hitec5955 only.

OK, I understand now, 3.73A sounds about right for a 5955. Thanks for the clarification.
I found this about Polyfuses.
So, if I am reading this correctly, the hotter they get, the less current they need to trip. And, it seems they don't reset until they cool off. This is a great idea for some things, but could be disastrous on a flight vehicle

For what its worth, I've been using a cb200 in 2 gas planes (120cc and 70cc) in a high rf location (los angeles) without any issues so far. They both have 900m rx's and neither has "kicked" in.

Correct... Plus in my experience they all act a little differently.. Now this is only speculation on my part but I think the older they get the weaker they are.
A few of my friends had zero issues at the beginning but after a year of flying problem surfaced.

CB200 Tip

There's one important thing to do which is not covered in User Manual.

All connected receivers must have their Fail Safe turned OFF in Device Explore. Then, use CB200's own Fail Safe.
