I like to hear about some RPM numbers with typical props (no wood).

What is the weight without the "mufflers"? Sorry, I see on the Milehighrc website it is listed as 2510 grams without "mufflers' and ignition.

Thanks! It looks great! That weight is about 11 oz more than a DA-120, which is not bad for overall weight, but might be an issue for balance.

Just picked one up myself from Mike. Looks very good. The bore has good crosshatching and the piston looks of good quality. The cylinder has quad transfer ports and materials look good.

I liked the DJ72 I had.Good to see someone with experience like you to get one. With all the big twins out there what made you buy this one.Are you going to go through this and tweak it a bit.

I am very interested in this engine for my next plane. I have a DA 120 and GP 123. The short list for next engine is Gp123 and DJ 144

Well what made me buy it is because I for (1) am not a "fanboy" of any brand and (2) Invite new product to this market. I own GP, DA, EME, DLE and Now a DJ engine. For $650 to my door I had to check it out and its actually $10 less then what I paid for my GP76! Lol. Im not going to do any mods to it. Im just going to build a airframe for it over the winter and come spring run the hell out of it and see what happens.

Hey cycletech me and my flying buddy plan new planes around December to January could you put the engine on a existing plane you have, fly it and give all of us a review. I am only asking because I think everyone should be supporting my personal interests in this hobby. Please. Lol thanks
