For all you dad's out there.

I just got back from the feild tonight with my son Andrew, who soloed three times tonight. I thought he was going to loose it when I told him he was ready for solo. He was smileling ear to ear. I gave him the transmitter said your ready. Letter bump, I said. He shoved up the throttel and gotter done. made some low passes, set it up for a landing and greesed it in. Broke the prop on the last landing. I told him I wished I had a dimm for every prop I had broken. Its one of those days you never forget.

Buy the way he was flying a Hobbico trainer

That's awesome! How old is he? I wish my son would show more interest, he's about to turn 7. Maybe one day.

Hey Jeff,

Congrats dude!!!

Shake the boy's hand for me, that's awesome. Now I think he's ready for a sweet slow roll with the Pitts!! Don't hold him back... If your Dad was there, it'll be a new topic for discussion if I can make it down in September

Andrew was there when my son soloed for the first time, last weekend. He's never had any real training except on a sim. He was given a foamy and asked if he wanted to fly, of course he said YES!!

He flew that thing like he'd been flying forever. All of the guys there told me I need to take some lessens from him.

I feel your pride, my friend, I know I was bursting with it!!!

Jeff,

I can see the smile and pride on your face.

You better keep that Ulitmate under lock and key now, cause Andrew just got a taste of solo flight, and with the field around the corner, you being gone on trips, you know how the saying goes " When the cats away, the mice will play" But don't worry, cause Gandpa will help guide him as he did you.
