The spinners I will sell, will be custom to each customer's desire, raw carbon fiber, fiberglass, prepped with primer so you can paint to the color you need.

My wife likes 12 inches and she likes for it to hurt... so I have to do it twice and hit her with a shoe.

flithy minded people! lol!

Steve, do you make a 4.5" or just 5" inch? what is the cost for a plain white or red one?

They look soo much better and more scale than all the others on the market.

Cheers!

Steve....I'd love to have a 4" version. Primed with no cutouts.

Hello guys,

I appreciate the feedback. As of now I am concentrating on just the 5" spinners. There is a tremendous expense involved with programming and machine time on the CNC. Granted it is my brother doing the programming and maching at my dad's machine shop so I am getting a hell of deal to make these parts. Once I start selling the 5" and there is a need for other sizes then I will definately consider making other ones. As long as the Chinese don't copy and undercut me. I won't be mass producing, I want to make the BEST spinner not the most, and that takes a lot of time.

As far as cost, I am really torn trying to set a price, I have said from the beginning that I can make these and sell them cheaper than Pete's Model's and way less than Tru-turn but I don't want to give away my time either. I would like some opinios as to a good and fair selling price to own the most accurate and best looking spinner on the market.

Thanks,

Steve

+1 on the 4.5 inch spinners. I'd take a couple. Consider a price similar to Mejzlik. Perhaps slightly higher since you have the extra effort involved in them. Best looking RC spinners iv'e ever seen. Looks so right on your plane too.

The backplate looks very similar to a Mejzlik, and I like the longer spinner style. I would guess pricing around the Mejzlik price point would certainly be fair.

Just be shure not to undercharge for it.... You want to be competitive, but don't try to undercut the low end guys if you can't keep up with thier demand. If you plan to sell them direct to end users, that will eliminate some sizeable margins that would normally go to distributors and retailers, but there added costs of individual shipping, customer service, etc..

I used to run an internet business selling tavern puzzles (like 2 horse shoes chained together with a ring on the chains)... It started small just before Thanksgiving one year, and by Christmas I had cleared over $5K in profits, just selling a $15 puzzle game. The business absolutely died after Christmas, and I shut the site down in April. My biggest lesson was the customer service time and the hidden costs of answering questions from customers virtually 24 hours a day. Everyone expects great service, and you want to deliver it... but it does take time, and time is money.... plan for that up front.
