Rudder to Aileron Mix

1. Go to Model >>> Functions Assignment >>>>> then click on bottom

ADD

then create this new function:

R-A MIX,
and then highlight CONTROL and move the rudder stick to then see P3.

now exit from this screen.

Now, go to Flight mode trim, and you will see on the bottom

R-A Mix and S1 will be 0%

ok, exit from here and go to Free Mixes

now create a new Mix
and select from R-A Mix
to Aileron.

exit from here, and go back to Function Curves
here, you will scroll down to R-A mix and select the curve box, and it will show options. You want to select as curve type

9-point

exit from this screen, and return to free mixes

select the R-A mix, and hit edit

now, pick switch that you want to activate your mix, if you want it on at all times, do not pick a switch.

You can set a master value, then click on curve. At first, set the master value to 50%. this is an arbitrary number, and more than likely, once you see what you want it to do, you will end up lowering this to 1% or up to 8% or so. whatever it takes to make it fly the way you want it to. The arbitrary 50% is only to exaggerate the movement of the mix so you can set it up and make sure it moves the way you want it to.

make sure curve is set to standard.

Now exit here.

If you want to be able to adjust the output of the aileron from one side to the other, meaning, if you want to roll to left knife edge, and then hit right rudder, and now you want to give less aileron mix compared to left rudder input, then you can make all these adjustments on the function curve page.

In anticipation for the 900 MHZ receivers

I found this.

For all of us who have the new DC or DS 24, which is able to transmit in 2.4 and 900 Mhz.

I was doing some research on how will the new 900 Mhz receivers be incorporated into our radio systems.

Seems quite straightforward, and I found some layouts from Hacker. Now, I do not know if this is true or not, and if it will pertain to us here in USA.

What i was trying to figure out is, how would a CB 200 be able to hook up dual pathway (2 RSat 2.4 receivers + 1 900 Mhz Rx.)? (to be triple redundant??)

I will show you the layouts.

I do not know nor have I seen how it will work or be wired for a CB 400.

Does anyone else know how it will work to be triple redundant with CB 200 and CB 400?

There was a post on rcu from someone that had asked the same question at Joe Nall. As i recall they need a software upgrade that is forthcoming for the cb to work with triple redundancy. When they have it sorted i am sure they will post the data.

I was told it would work like attachment #3 but I'm using a Powerbox.

I thought there was another option where we could plus 2 RX's in to the cb200 and a 900m into one of the 2.4g RX.

I had thought so too. Something like replacing one of the R3s with an REX receiver configured as in attachment #1 but with E2 configured as an EX Bus output and connected to the CB200. Not sure if that would work though and if it does why they don't show it as a possibility..

This sort of says that, right?

I'm new to the Jeti world and just kicking the tires so it is a guess. LOL

Not quite, Teros used the same setup as attachment 1 which will definitely work.
The only question is whether the REX receiver will take PPM In on E1 and still output EX Bus on E2 using data from the PPM link if the main receiver loses signal. I know it will update the servo outputs on themain receiver based on the PPM input just not sure EX Bus output would work properly in that case. Since Jeti doesn't list that configuration as valid for the CB200 I'm guessing it won't work correctly but it could simply be an oversight..

Just saw this on the Esprit web site.

http://www.espritmodel.com/jeti-tele...letter-2017055

I tried to investigate to find out more about it. But i cannot see exactly what this is for??

IS this a sensor that can be used on a gasser, and it will read RPM based on the magnet on the hub as it rotates??

The instructions do not state this.

therefore, if you have a gasser, you can use this sensor in lieu of the optical sensor, and now, it should be much better reading, independent of light source??

Thanks, I'm very curious to see if it will work on a DA170.

Super, thanks.
Judging by the picture, I think you'll have to fabricate a mount for it.
