2010 Score Sheets

To all CD's
I have made up score sheets with the 2010 sequences . Just copy them to 5 different colored papers and this will be a little easier to separate them into classes.

Re: 2010 Score Sheets

I prefer the other format that the NW region has been using, all rounds are on one sheet. if a CD was to use these then that would be 8 sheets of paper to print for 3 rounds and an unknown for each pilot. times the 30-35 pilots that adds up to a very big amout of paper and printer ink. and then factor in the amount of sequence sheets for the pilots and judges and a few extras and you have used up a full ream of paper and probably a set of ink cartridges as well. adds to the total cost to run a contest.

So after each round the same sheets have to be passed back out to the judges so they can score the next round?

Doesn't look like there is enough room on the sheet to do that.

I had looked at these last year when I cd'd my contest....
and it looked like Yes, the sheets would have to be brought back to the judges chair....

seemed WAY too involved and complicated...

I chose to kill an extra tree....

If thats the case a round could not be started until the previous round for that class was scored.
At some of our bigger contests, that simply wont work.

In addition, a judge could easily be influenced by seeing all the previous scores that a pilot had.

Out here on the West Coast, they use a system similar to this for the pattern contests. When you turn in your score sheet, they just trim off the used section, and return it to you. It works well, and saves paper and ink.

As CD you get things donated. I have someone to print my score sheets. I have someone to accept and print the unkowns with all aresti's and score sheets. Now if I can get the trophies donated. The only expence we will have is an extra port-o-let cleaning. I don't know any honeydew dippers that work for free.

I've seen judges put scores in the wrong "empty" space which caused all kinds of problems. Much easier with the type of sheets provided above. (IMHO)

Good job,
Craig

Judges should not see the score from a previous round while scoring the current round. I know I made a score sheet that had like 4 or 5 per page and then cut them out myself. Contestants grabbed the sheets they needed for the contest and the judges only see one small piece of paper at time.

Not saying my way was best but it never influenced judges from previous rounds
