Best Servo for 110cc 1/3 3D set up

I have a extra 300s that has a gt80 in it. Ow but that's not enough for 3d so I will be replacing it for a BME 116 that I have. Looking for servo recommendations for 3d flying. Thanks

Very popular choose would be Savox 1270TG high voltage that has 486 oz of torque and good speed. 10 sec.

If going for hardcore 3d, I would go Savox 2290 that has 694oz and abit slower .13 sec at 7.4v.

I run savox 2290 in my 35-40%’ers. I had 1-2290 on the rudder of a 105 laser and it was plenty to pull through a knife edge loop without blowback.

One other question. Since the extra 330s has 2 servos per aileron would I really need something as wild as Savox 1270TG/2290 or could I take it down a notch?

1270tg would do plenty for that 80cc class. Unless if over 104" wingspan I may prefer 2290.

i wouldn't describe 1270s as wild - they are popular servo and offer good performance for less than $100 ea. To answer your question, yes, you can go with something in the 300 oz range. But there's a catch, and it's a big one...whatever servo you go with has to have good centering as it is working in tandem with the other. for me, that would take me back to the 1270 as a minimum. if you go up in price you can look at a host of brushless servos, which offer better battery efficiency.

You might want to check out this brand. I've heard good things about them.

So many good choices anymore. Look for 400+ oz/in on the elevators, 300 oz/in on the ailerons, and 500 oz/in on the rudder. You want metal gears, ball bearing and high voltage. Look for a servo that hits those marks from:
Promodeler
MKS
Hitec
Futaba
JR

Prices will range from 90-200 dollars.

The new JR 8911’s are a great choice. Extremely powerful, fast, and priced right.

I have 1270 and 2270 in a 2.9M Compy MX2. Plenty of servo. I have 8911HV in a Dalton 300. Plenty of servo. I get 0 blowback with 440-500 oz servos ganged on my surfaces.

1270s are a perfect match for it. I fly a 37% Corvus Racer, all 1270s. It will do KE Loops all day long, effortlessly. This is also with 1 servo on the rudder.
