Think there will be any video from one of the 15 go pro cameras on board?

Not very often you see a full sized aerobatic plane hanging by its tail from a heli .

So glad he's not seriously injured. Lucky man .

I'm very glad he's ok. But I just gotta say much of his surviving with just bruises and scratches has to be due to his awesome flying skills. Luck too but this guy has some serious skills

PS: Earle my post was not responding to yours. We just both posted at the same time.

Oh, I agree....he's a hellofapilot!!!! But when the first part of the airframe makes contact, you're pretty much along for the ride after that, and things can go bad in a heartbeat. Kirby should've bought a few lotto tickets when he go back to the field!

Great to hear that Kirby is OK, lucky man with great skills, crash probably caused by the dreaded JR/Spektrum brownout

Was thinking the same exact thing when I saw that video. If the airframe was reusable after the crash, I'd be worried about that rear end now.

First time I watched Kirby's video doing aerobatics, I could not sleep that night. I guess it was 2004.
It was beyond my imagination at the time what he was able to do with his Edge.

Never had the chance to meet him but he just seems to be a class act. Super thrilled he's made it out of that crash. I also read about him crashing inverted as he was doing an inverted low pass, I guess in Japan....May God always keep him safe.
