if anyone wants to do some repair work, I have a brand new but damaged cowl - it has about 4 cracks from the inner edge of the forward lip through the front of the cowl - free if you pay shipping.

Do you want to help a fellow RC/Flyer and give me the cowl to a plane you don't own.

Dont know how long, but thats my buddy Ido. He was in the top spots at the last XFC I flew in (2007). Hes an awesome stick!

I just picked up my new(used, but new to me;-) Hangar 9 Sukhoi! Mike Mcconville hooked
me up with a KILLER deal that i just couldnt refuse
Its going to take me probably all winter to get all of the stuff i need to make this baby fly,
( i'm a broke-ass with a crappy paying job, and my wife and i just had a baby)
but hopefully by the spring i'll have it ready to go. Mike also hooked me up with
4 JR 8611s and 1 8611a wich knocks a huge cost off of my list of stuff to buy

I had what I would call and great landing the other day. I was landing on grass and the prop nailed a some of ground and bubbled the comp. prop.

Have any of you bent your gear to try to allow more clearance? I had a 26x10 on there but it broke I am wondering if you have any pointers before I put my 27x10 prop on?

I have known there wasn't much clearance.

Just wanted to get your thoughts.

I've thought about trying to take the gear off and bend it to get a little more clearance for the 27" prop. I haven't done it yet though. I just try to make all my landings really smooth 3 point landings but that's gonna get me one of these days.

I've got about 250 to 300 landings on mine with the mez 27x10 prop and I've only touched dirt twice and just barely - no damage to the prop at all. Rather than bending the gear go for some taller tires. I've used 4inch and 3.75 tires all along.
