BTW, my DA-120 has the vibration of a turbine and has outrageous power. Really, 61 pounds of thrust on a 26 pound AJS is plenty.

That is probably why I have never had a bad one, nor have I ever had one fail.

I like da engines, but not the typical da nazi who thinks were losing our country to china. Umm unless you've been under a rock for last 30-40 years the u.s sold out our manufacturing to overseas a long time ago. Plus is your whole plane made in the USA? Your radio gear? The car you drive? I bet 90% of everything people own is not made in the USA. So please get off your soap box about the fact da's are made in the USA. We don't have to agree but you can't deny the truth. I'm not in any way bashing da just the bone heads who think da or nothing, plus you never see anybody who works for or owns da get involved in any da vs china argument. They just don't care and neither should any of you. I'm buying the 35 when it comes out because I like da products and thier service, but not everyone can afford da. That's all I have to say about that.

The 100 twin inline is interesting.

Planned winter project this year is my long ignored 1/4 scale P51. I just mocked up the plans with the 200 with 2 cylinders removed and it would make a great fit and leave space for a scale exhaust. But as always with inlines, cooling the rear cylinder is the bugbear. I am not going to be cutting extra holes in the cowl. As engine weight is rarely an issue with any plane the might need an inline engine, if they could do the rear cylinder with much longer cooling fins that would be brlliant. I will never have the money for a Kolm.

I do like the idea of a 120 inline slightly more though. I know DA seem to be on overdrive this year with new product development, but a 120 twin is right in the sweatspot for 1/4 scale merlin engined warbirds. enough power but not to big to get some cooling in the cowls. Oh, and offer a black version please, we don't need shiny silver engines with red bits on with scale planes.
