I don't know if you got real winter weather where you live, but you can imagine your fingers getting f.....reezing cold flying in wintertime. So we need to be creative and come up with different solutions keeping our fingers from turning into ice. So this "anonymous" pilot came up with the idea using a patio heater, and were shooting his mouth off bragging about how effective this would be and that he could even fly naked because of his great idea. So you see, it was a lesson of practice what you preach sort of thing. Funny as hel* if you ask me!

Glad it doesn't get that cold here in France. Wouldn't want to see some of the guys in my club (actually, none of them!) flying like that.
