Hey Andy, just curious why you are switching to MKS instead of Savox?

So I have 1270ís in about 3 other planes (and still flying them). I have had some issues though with them, had one burnout (throttle servo and caused a dead stick), and Iíve actually had a bunch get really squeaky and almost have more resistance when you move them by hand. Youíre able to fix that by cleaning the gears and reapplying gear oil but I think thatís a bit odd after just 1 year of flying on most of the servos where it happened. My best guess is itís a combo of being in high heat, low humidity Arizona, and probably a cheap gear oil they use in manufacturing or not applying enough to begin with. Just my thoughts, Iím not here to bash Savox!

Iíve bought 5 of the 777A+ servos for an EF 91Ē Laser Iím putting together now. Iíve heard nothing but good things about them so giving them a try. I will likely buy a set of the HBL380ís as well and try them out in a Krill Yak.

Throttle servo was a 1270. It was crazy man, there was a hole that burned through the bottom of the servo and actually charred the wood a little in the plane lol.

I have heard a lot of good things about the MKS 777's too.

That's crazy the way the throttle servo burned up!

Savox suck and don't have a repair center. I called in with some servo's squeak soo bad and was told to take them apart and oil them. Bull crap!
