Really nice pics. This plane brings back a lot of memories. Grew up watching Leo fly at the Sussex air show annually. He was truly one of the all time greats! My first GS was an 86” Laser done in the Bud Light scheme. Great to see Yuri H. flying this plane. Quite a pilot! I hope to get this airframe in the future.

The lighting (& cold...) was pretty stunning at the field yesterday.

I’v got the fuselage ready to go. Now starting on hinging the wings and stabs.

Are you aware that you can remove your IBEC? The X24 has a high current BEC built into it. You just plug your ignition box into either port E2 or D2, and then set what voltage you want it to output and what channel controls it.

Mine came all hinged with the gaps sealed. Looks like nice clean work too. Unexpected but one less thing to worry about I guess.

Wonder what hinges they used??

I bought a pack of Robarts as I always do and had them ready and waiting for this. Hopefully I never need them for this plane.

Ive had the hinges that come with some other ARFs (NOT EF) hog out and develop slop in under 100 flights.

Not so much anymore man. Been over a year now but hoping to make a come back this season. Finding a place to fly out here has been tough.
