Yippee!
DLE-61 and my 92" Edge!!!

Got my call from Valley View RC that the brand new DLE-61 and DLE-120 came in today so headed down to check it out!! Long story short, I'll be putting the 61 on my new 3DHS 92" Edge 540. The engine was the missing piece of the puzzle so now it's time to get started!!!

First impression of the DLE-61 is it looks great! First, it's noticeably bigger than the 55 and 55RA. It shares the footprint of the 55RA and looks like the same carb as well. Throttle arm looks updated otherwise all the hardware is standard equipment with everything you need to get it mounted up and bolted together. Includes the 8.4v HV ignition like the RA as well.

Prop bolt pattern is the same as the 50/55/RA so new new jig needed. Opting not to fly at noise sensitive fields has helped me go back to the purist stock muffler/no cans/no throttle curve mentality so one thing I really liked is the updated stock muffler. First, it's included!! Second is that it's angled, both back and in. If you've ever had to cut out that annoying little crescent moon shape on the front of new cowl you know exactly what I'm talking about. I'll be the first to admit it looks a little lightweight and cheap, but as long as it holds and performs that's all I care about!!

New toys bro, what's there not to be happy about!?! I'm not expecting it to be a top shelf game-changer but I am expecting it to be a kick azz time for the "baller on a budget" like myself...

Business end is done! These are nice arfs and compared to the BigFoot almost falls together... The DLE61 fits like it was made for it too!

Dude you left the manual up on your computer in the background--rookie mistake!

You are supposed to give the illusion of not needing "no stinking manual!"

Hahahaha, I am kidding.

On another site I read that they are 3mm wider than the DLE 55. Also, the port is larger. The OP made a 55 header work but had to modify it. See the link here.

Hi ... I'm looking at buying a DLE 61 would confused about the exhaust.
There are two type mufflers I’m seeing, one with the silicon extension and one complete metal like yours. Is there any difference? Is any one of them better? Or the silicon one is not original?

Hope to hear from any one soon so that i can make the Order. Thanks!
