I made a pack up from two cells that I bought from them four years ago just to try out. That pack is still running the RX and ignition on a 50cc profile today with out any issues.I can't tell any difference from my 50.00 a123 packs. They both charge up to the same capacity and hold a charge the same length of time.I watch the charge and discharge closely when new but don't give it a second thought now. I don't know what grade they are but they work good and have proven to hold up.Even when using a Hypersonic 10 amp charger on it when charging at the field.Just my findings and not trying to promote them.I didn't really think it would last but it is. |

To pull 6amps continuous and the odd 15ish amp 1/2second long surge i don't think you really need grade A cells, if hobbyking are indeed genuine for your purposes HK A123 should be just fine.
Having said that if i bought A123 it would be supporting a local hobby or battery supplier. |

Talk about resurrecting an old thread....So this past weekend I fried my trusty Cellpro 10s charger by accidentally plugging it into the 24v tap on my power supply.....pretty blue smoke...anyway I used this charger exclusively to charge my A123 receiver packs. Since the 10s has long since been discontinued and the 10xp more recently discontinued, I am looking for a new charger. I have a Cellpro 4s as well, but I don’t like charging through the charge switches at 4 amps. Are there any other good chargers out there to replace my Cellpro 10s?
Thanks, Travis |

The only problem/difference with the iChargers is that they are not polarity protected like the CellPro's. If you hook the CellPro up wrong, it just reports bad cell count, you hook an iCharger up wrong and the magic smoke will get out.
