Why didn't they do a rear carb? That's the biggest thing I see.

I am thinking they did it to get the length as short as they could to fit it into allot of the smaller models targeted. It is just over 5 " long and if they went with a rear carb it sould have been just over 6" is my guess. Maybe they could come out with a rear carb version as well. All they would need to do is manufacture a casting for the rear half of the cranckcase. With the side carb being just over 3" out from center line it is going to stick out the side on scale models like the P51.

True, people can always cut up their cowlings. Can't cut up your firewall. I remember having to cut out a big circle in my cowlings for my Moki 1.80 and 2.10....so the cylinder heads could stick out. I guess this will be way better than that. I'ts a nice little engine and very light weight.

Did you use the first link? Use the first link and scroll down to the bottom of the page. The video is there. It takes a few seconds for it to start playing but it did for me. That video link didn't work for me. Also after clicking the 1st link, when it askes if you want foreign language installed, just click cancel and you can proceed.

Works fine for me on the first link. Took about 15 seconds to start playing.

Looks like the nearly all the muff will hang out on a model such as an Extra. Will need a wraparound pitts.
