Yea the new casino is all the talk around here right now. We are teaching one of the managers to fly, the numbers he talks about are sick! Supposed to be a great new facility.

Re: 2009 Cincinnati IMAC Challenge
Look for a list of sponsors very soon for the Cincinnati IMAC. We have had positive feedback from several hobby related businesses and all of them have stepped up to the plate with something to send us for the prize pool! We are on a mission to once again send everyone home with a prize and some home with a very special prize. This helps all of us out in many ways so I can’t thank them enough for helping us out in such a tough economic time. I will gather the list together and post it early next week.
As in years past we draw the Sunday unknown flight order from the pilot sign in sheet in reverse order. This means, you sign in last, you fly first! This is in effort to get people signed in so we can all get flying faster and get more flying in. It is a real bummer to have to constantly round people up for sign in. This has been a standing tradition for 4 years and it WORKS! Most people pre-register these days which helps a bunch, but we still need to check you in. Check in will begin between 7:30-8:00, I will firm up a time with Ken and post it. We will have someone at the field starting Thursday night BUT that could change if it is really bad weather or something. If your planning on coming early (Thursday or early Friday morning) Please contact me so I can be sure the field is open for you. We had a pilot show up on Tuesday last year but we just have no way to house someone that early in the week. Again, this is an IMAC event first and a party, dinner, play time second. I want to be sure everyone has a good time and all but we can't let this degrade into a party atmosphere. We will do the best we can to provide as much flying as we can with judging assignments posted early. Unknown judges will have scribes, this means we will all have to chip in a bit. There will be a short pilots meeting at 8:45 AM to cover the field rules, go over some basic judging criteria, and answer any quesitons. We have plenty of firwood for the camp fires, not much else so far so maybe the ozone will take a break this year. Either that or Cheryl will find some yard sales between now and then ![]() We are looking forward to the Burnit Challenge again this year and hope you enjoy yourselves very much. Will |
