2010 IMAC-SAWS **FEB 13TH** Stratford, Ontario, Canada

In case some of you aren’t aware, we are hosting IMAC-SAWS (International Miniature Aerobatic Club - Scale Aerobatic Workshop/Seminar) in Mid February.

This will be a great time to take a break from the snow and learn more about flying IMAC in Canada/US.

There will also be a Foamy Freestyle event later in the afternoon with trophies’ and prizes from our sponsors followed by open Foamy flying until 11pm!

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER FOR THE EVENT IF YOU PLAN ON COMING OUT AS IT HELP THE ORGANIZERS BETTER PLAN FOR THE EVENT!




Location: Stratford Rotary Complex - 353 McCarthy Road, Stratford, ON

When: Saturday February 13th, 2010, Doors open @ 8:00 am through 11:00 pm

General Admission Fee: $12.00 (wives and girlfriends get in free!)

Lunch will be available (Suggested dinner plans will be available the day of)

Schedule:

8:00am - 4:00pm - IMAC Seminar and aerobatic airplane display (pilots are encouraged to bring and put on display their winter projects or current flying models (Large Hall)

The following are some of the attractions and Seminars;

• 2010 Canadian IMAC-Nationals booth; contest information by Mike Milos and Ralph Biancaniello
• IMAC booth; membership and organization information
• 50cc Airplane and set-up Seminar by Bryan Mailloux (30-45 minutes)
• Freestyle Seminar by Nicolas Pinzon (20-30 minutes)
• OPEN Show and Tell (Display your Airplanes all Day)

Bring your IMAC related questions to this event; whether it has to do with sequences, servos setup, engine selection, or programming and you will get professional answers!


9:00am -12:00pm - IMAC Basic Judging School. Learn about the basics of IMAC and judging criteria's by Rick Kroeze (smaller meeting room)

4:00pm - 5:30pm - Foamy Freestyle Contest! Everyone welcomed to participate. Must have a current MAAC or AMA card. Top Canadian and American Pilots will be there! It’s your chance to fly against them! PA sound system will be setup for the music. Please have a 2 minutes music/freestyle routine ready. Prizes and trophies will be awarded. Master of Ceremonies will be Sam Filippelli (Large Hall)
