Re: DA-120 ?

Do you think they'd sell enough engines for 50%r's to justify the R & D? I'd hate to see that engine's price tag!!!

Hp is really not a great way to measure performance of an engine. And the 3W 110 is a pound heavier than the 120. And Mejzlik makes the 26X12N and 27X12TH that will both work well. And Airmodels makes a 26X12 and 27X12. Tony Russo has tried a few of them I believe, but I believe he is liking the Mejz 27X10TH right now.

Re: DA-120 ?

We have good results with the Mejzlik 28x12 and 29x10S 2 blades and the 27x12 TH 3 blade.
TH props have a thinner airfoil.

The 28x12, is that on std muffs?

I really enjoy the 26x12 on my 100/muffs, would love similar performance/characteristics

Are we talking about using these props on the 120? (We are still talking about the 120...right?)

Re: DA-120 ?

Does anyone know when DA will start taking names for these motors? My Aeroworks Extra 300 is backordered til Feb so I am hoping the timing will be right. Heck, even if the 300 sits around for a month or two, it will be getting the 120!
