Have you picked out a compression ratio yet? From what little research I've done it seems most RC engines are around 7 to 7.5:1.

I get it as compression builds heat and there's only so much a guy can do with an air cooled motor.

Still, I'd love to see what a 10:1 or 11:1 100cc engine would be capable of.

I've debated heavily on building a high compression cylinder/head setup on my DA85 or this little import 50cc twin thingy that I recently picked up on the cheap.

I live for the day when a water cooled RC engine becomes available. I've done it successfully on a 40% nitro Moki210 glow motor. Maybe I'll see about building another (bigger radiator) and trying it on a gasser.

Cool stuff! Hope it works well for you.

C.

It's the electrode to EDM the ribs in the mold for the front of the crankcase.

The results of what happens to the airframe would be interesting as well.

The MVVS 58 LC has been around for several years now.

Fergus I see you added a lip where the two halfs of the crankcase join. Good plan my friend.
