As Parakos said, there are no blind nuts pre installed for the tailwheel. I found it easy to slip blind nuts in through the rudder post.

This thread is for everyone and anyone interested in the CARF 2.6 330. Very kind to ask, but post away! Dave Wilshere |

More progress...
Some more shots of the progress. Almost done now, only cable routing and installation of the fuel tank cradle left I think.
BTW, the fuel tank cradle which is supplied with the plane is only about 8mm from the canisters when I test mount it in the plane on top of the wing tube sleeve. Will this be a problem? I mean regarding heat? |

Very neatly done! The heat won't be a problem for the tank tray.

I will soon set up control throws etc. Do anyone have recommended throws for the 330SC or is it the same as for the SX? The elevators are enormous and should not need many mm to move the plane around in the air.
Regarding CG, is it 90-95mm from wingtip leading edge? Will only be flying IMAC. |

Control travel and expo is such a personal thing, though yes you can use the SX figures.
I have set up a couple of these now and they only require a tiny aileron mix and 10% ish up elevator with rudder. 95mm on the balance is a good place for you to start, if you like neutral feel in pitch you can go back further even for Imac, its quite stable in pitch. I have my 2.3 330SC set for 3-D and it tracks really well in sequence manoeuvres. Dave |
