Help!
What is the best forum for multirotor builds and setups?

My passion is truly flying 3d planes and helis. My brother and Are looking into building multirotors for sale instead of a video service. After all it's legal. Any tips on highly comprehensive forum would be a big help. Thanks.

Yea macboss I am a member at helifreak. The guys there are avoiding the subject. It is the finest heli forum bar none. I love flying helis and planes. Multis are ok but not my passion. I love building helis. I built my Trex 550. Running an MX 600 outrunner. Power Monster! My brother and are pondering the thought of building quads for purchase. Just like rc planes and heli products I need to learn what to steer away from. Anyone who needs heli information. go to helifreak and go into Finless Bob's Tech Room. Finless has posted the finest heli build videos you will find anywhere. Finless is my hero. I've got some ideas for designs on multis. Thanks all.

i would recommend www.rcgroups.com and you will find a ton of info. i end up following threads that revolve around my particular favorite frame or controller board.

There are tons of forums with quad posts- but most are worthless in my opinion.. there aren't 1 out of 100 quad posts worth a pinch of piss. Kinda like airplane forums lol but worse.. Rcgroups has a lot of activity but many of the people posting don't know which end is up. So you will have to research a bunch and figure out who really knows what they are talking about before you start taking their advice. A lot of the newbie quad guys are kinda like lemmings.. Look how many buy taranis transmitters but never write any code for it? somebody said they are good for quads and poof there you go, everyone has one when in reality any basic 5 channel transmitter will fly most quads as all of the settings are variable within cleanflight...
Depending on what you want to do or know the RC forums may not be where you want to look too.. For example when i switched to NAZE type boards and wanted to learn cleanflight I went to the cleanflight site and actually read the developers manual so i knew exactly what each setting does and how it works vice what somebody posted on a forum that may or may no be correct..
