Kavan would be the best bet, but I think 6" is tops.

Lookie what USPS just brought me!! The 11.60" PR Bushwheels are nothing short of amazing and for my custom bird I couldn't imagine anything else under it! Great work PRB!

My good buddy "Bob the Builder" did a full recover in Stits light with a custom scheme on my 40% Hempel Super Cub and is finishing paint this week. Should be awesome when it's all done, but says I can't keep it at his house for too long for some reason...

Nice and impressive! Here is my almost done recovered Hempel 25% Clipped Wing Cub with 6" Dubro Tundra tires. Aluminum Solartex painted with Klass Kote (aluminum paint over the aluminum covering - yep).

I finally broke down and got a set of 11.6" for my Super Cub. I only have one flight on them, but I can say they are made for off runway use! I'm running mine at the low pressure they were shipped with. With proper technique I was able to get a few landings with out even rolling one fuselage length with a very very light breeze. The trick is, you have to flare about a foot off the ground and goose the throttle just enough push the tailwheel into the grass right as it stalls. Once the happens the mains come down pretty solidly and the plane just mooshes and sort of wobbles to a stop.

I will say I pushed these pretty hard- enough that I have to take my stock landing gear to the welding shop to be shored up since the factory neglected to do it themselves! Anyway, most of my 'arrivals' were full flap nose into the wind, not-quite harrier landings. These tires just soaked it up. They flexed and wobbled and gyrated all around- but they kept the plane stable, and protected the skinny 1/4" piano-wire landing gear/ axles from bending. Which is easy to do with the stock wheels!

I can't wait to do some kind of off road adventure with these and see what kind of trouble I can't get into.

Oh yea, just to be a PITA- this is the correct airframe to put Bush Tires on! Super Cub with flaps!

Try Dubro. They have 6" inflatable wheels.
