Okay Giants,
Fandando (Kyle Foote)needs your prayers...... Kyle was on his way from Conroe to Killeen, Texas (Back to Central Texas College where he attends school) He was on a straight road and left the roadway, came back on the road, spun around backwards, ran down an embankment and struck a tree. This was at about 65 mph and his LeSabre was bent in half at the center post of the doors on the right side. (The center post actually struck him on the right side of his head.) There were no other vehicles but a bunch of wildlife was in the area. When he was discovered byt the DPS Trooper, the motor was cold on the car so he had to have sat down in the fence line for quite some time. (We are very blessed that he is still with us........)
He has a bruised right lung, a fractured skull on the right side, severly bruised and swollen brain and liver, and a fractured rib. He is under heavy sedation and was expected to be forced to wake up on Friday. (Removing the sedation medication) His progress today marked some improvement and now the plan is to wake him in the morning instead of later in the week. The neuro surgeon is optimistic because he has full movement of his extremities and will squeeze our hands upon command.
We have had calls and prayer circles like you can't believe! We are amazed at all the expressions of concern and we have no doubt that he is in the greatest hands here at Scott & White hospital in Temple, Tx.
I picked up his belongings from the wrecked vehicle this morning. I retrieved his cell phone and this laptop from that mangled car and it was like I picked out a piece of Kyle to take back with me!
We have a few pictures and will share them with you in a day or two. His entire flight wing of students and his roomate Van showed up today. The entire flight instuctor team and Program Director also came by. We feel Kyle will have a full recovery with all of your prayers. Things will take time but we feel strides are being made evey hour. We'll keep ya'll posted!

Hi Guys,
Got here at nine this morning. Doctors are cutting back on the sedation med and Kyle is going to be woke up for a short period of time. They did a "test run" on him earlier this morning and he responded well. They do this for short periods and will eventually take of the respirator. He's buggered up all over but he's a young gun so they expect good things. We've gotten calls from everybody and are seeing our Flying Giants writing in to him from all over. Thanks a million for your prayers! It's working, guys! Update later when the doctors do their stuff.......
