We actually are going to drive this one. Since it is only about a 3hr and 45min drive my Dad thought it would be easier to drive.

Oh no. Don't do it Neil! I think you should get a Great Planes Fun-Fly .40 I hear they make good IMAC planes.

I'm thinking he should get a HotRod Foamy! I hear that's the best IMAC bird out there!

(Actually he'd probably still kick butt!)

Re: NE Imac "Summer Sizzle", Milford Pa Aug 23rd & 24th.

Hi Mr. Jim and Mr. Stan,

I think I will take both of your reccomendations and get the fun-fly 40 and a foamy so I can practice the sequences around the house...lol

As for the Carden...I have always wanted a 40% airplane and after looking at both Dave Michaels and Albert's, the 300 looks to be it. I have been mowing lawns all summer, about 5-6 a week, and have finally saved up enough money to buy the plane by myself so I am pretty excited. I am also going to build it myself which to me makes the plane even more special because you can actually say "I built it".

But hey Mr. Stan no worries, you told me at the Conn. IMAC that you were getting a 40% Carden 260 so it should be pretty close.

Look forward to seeing you guys in Milford,

Neil

All I can say is that you guys are making me jealous that I am going to miss this one.

BTW in an ealier post I mentioned that BIll Lairsay and I are looking at coordinating a judging seminar. I haven't gotten too many responses. What is the interest level here to attend a judging seminar either tied to a meet possibly the water gap or separately in the beginning of '09. Isabel, Bill, Robert expressed interest. Bill is considering holding something this year for the northern part of the region. What about the rest.

Tony, I would be in. I can attend either the north or the southern part of the region... or both!

Correct, it's $30 for Imac members and $35 if you're not. You don't have to be a member to compete. All are welcome. You could join IMAC anytime for $20.

Take care and see you in Milford.
