I got lucky today with the weather and got a couple flights in. This plane is sweet, it flies great, precision in my opinion is just as good as the Extra and Yak, it also seems more locked in during high alpha stuff, virtually no wing rock in upright harriers and none in inverted. It doesn't seem to need any knife edge couple mixing, rudder authority is great, very easy knife edge loops without much input other than rudder. The DA 50/ES Composite pipe setup seems perfect for it, more than enough power. I'll get the scale out and weigh it tonight, my guess is right around 17 pounds but we'll see what the scale says. I'm also going out tonight and buying a new video camera, I hope to have some video within the next couple days.

Glad to hear you got it in the air and the first flights were successful! I look forward to seeing some video. I wrapped mine up last night and will get some video as soon as we get some decent weather. Haven't had a good flying day around here in weeks.

Think it would be a good replacement for my 88" Yak? Maybe I'll just steal my DA from my Yak and put it on the Edge and keep the Yak for "just in case"

I just ordered one those spinners after seeing the picture, mine's gonna have the same graphics, they add a nice final touch to it. The more I look at that scheme the better I like it.
