I have not flown in Petersburg, They might not let me come home...But Henderson is a nice place about an hour ride. My son and I have flown there a few times.

Also from the Petersburg area but I fly with MVRCC.

It's good to see all the Va. flyers here!!!I'm sure i've meet a few of you, I've been doing this for 20 years....

I spend a lot of time at the lake so I fly mainly at Henderson. I'm pretty sure you know Chris Carnes. He comes out to Henderson to fly. I may have been out your way before at a flyin. Chris invited me one time out that way but I can't remember exactly where. Cody was there with the big simulator trailer.

Chris and Cody are both friends of mine. If the sim trailer was there it was it the airport i'm sure. I'm about 20 mins of the State Park..

Yup...counting the days until I can apply to re-up here in France for 2 more years! (With the current economic crisis, not sure it will be approved....)

About the only thing I'm missing from the USA is family & friends!!!!

I'm a retired Navy Captain/pilot. 30yrs, finished in 2004. Retired fully this last year. in R/C since 1972 actually, but took about 20yrs off in the middle for career/family.

Now flying 59" Slick; Crack Yak; Hgr9 Katana 50; 30cc 3DHS Edge and latest is 55cc CARF 84" Yak SP_55M....fly gas at an awesome field just south of Fredericksburg (FARCC). Unlimited fields and space. Fly electric at NVRC in Manassas.
