We just purchased a toy hauler with a similar garage size. Looking forward to seeing how you outfit it.

Since the trailer is not that high and wide, it will be uncomfortable to get inside the trailer to take the planes or any tools out.
Therefore we have made this method.

The drawer can be loaded with 2 planes 35% and 40%, and 1 trainer (for my son) with everything related to them, from the tiny little bolt to chargers and spare parts.

There are more things we think about adding like, covering the inside, lights and maybe 12v dry battery to charge the planes.

Here are some pictures from the process.
All the bags and pouches are all home made sewed.

Cheers

Very nice; I've been thinking of doing something similar for my 5x8 trailer. Thinking of a pull out assembly table that will hold my two 1/4 scale planes while in transit. I also have smaller planes that will set on cross boards above the bigger planes. My trailer is a little taller and I can walk in...with my head down.

your going to love it, ive been excluding family because of all the crap involved in hauling a 40% plane. my new Thor Outlaw has a queen bed over garage area that can hold planes while my MC's and Quads will fit below . who knows I may regret dragging the fam everywhere I go

Ours is 34 feet with the drop bed in the garage as well. I'm planning to use the drop bed as a shelf for the airplanes. Manual says do not travel with the bed down, but I am at a loss as to why it would matter. Already did a short test run with it down and no issues. (My theory is just you really should never have a person in there while the vehicle is traveling.)

changed my mind at the dealer and got the version 37RB without drop/bed in garage, now I can build my own overhead hanger(100" ceiling) and still sleep below. my daughter and I drove straight through from tucson-LA just got her home. get some pics later

I'm finding out the bed isn't as great a shelf as a custom one would've been, but I will be able to raise it out of the way once there. And, we've already used it as a bed. (Ours does not have a bed below.)

I've also been thinking about removing the bench seats in the garage area. I'm not sure they'd ever be used? And, I'd get a little more storage space.

Nice set up....how are you securing your wheels to those brackets?
I have a lot stuffed in my trailer and need to make more room for 3 more planes🤓

Setting the plane down so bracket goes between the wheel and LG. I cut some foam that fits between the wheel and LG and the Velcro strap goes over the top of the foam and snugged down.

Nice setup. Looks comfy. Is that indoor outdoor carpet? I really want to build a trailer with carpet on the floor but have concerns about keeping it clean.

Go get the cheap, industrial (not indoor/outdoor) carpeting at one of the Home Stores. I have had mine for a decade and it still looks great.
